aryneheadshotcloseupMany years ago, I came to the realization that valuing the inner life is one of the most important things we can do to create deep and lasting change.

My learning journey began in 1998 following a dark period in my early twenties. At the time, I was grappling with a growing existential crisis that had left me feeling depressed, disillusioned and empty. For years and with little success, I struggled to ‘fix’ my problems and had exhausted my stores of willpower.

In the midst of my despair I was fortunate to meet Viola Fodor, a gifted teacher and therapist who has long since become a close mentor and friend. Through a process of inner exploration and deep questioning, my awareness started to open and I began viewing the problems that had been plaguing me much differently. With new sources of strength and insight, my view of the world and my role in it were transformed. The understanding of change I gained through that process has served as the philosophical basis of my work ever since.

In 2010, I completed Viola’s training program for professionals and now guide clients through the process that proved so helpful to me. I hold a Master’s degree in Philosophy (2000) and a Master’s degree in Adult Education specializing in Transformative Learning (2004). I have practiced vipassana (insight) meditation under the guidance of S.N. Goenka since 1999. I am registered with the OACCPP (Ontario Association of Consultants, Counsellors, Psychometrists and Psychotherapists) and have worked in the areas of personal growth & wellness, leadership development and counseling for over 12 years.
